I'm planning on buying the iPod Touch 2G 8gb soon. Anyone used this before or any other iPod touch? I wanted a new mp3 player and an organizer with WiFi, so I figured this would kill two birds with one stone.

My brother has one and he seems to love it. I know that listening to music really kills the battery, but it is convenient. I personally like a cell phone that is a phone and has a camera at most, but to each his own. I think it's a pretty good phone in general though. Consumer reports had the blackjack 2 as being the best "smart phone", so you may wanna look at that.

i work for apple. if you want something to listen to music on and be able to browse and watch youtube videos get one, it's pretty sweet for that shite.
get a macbook to go with it though...lol

Seriously, I have used iPods with both PC & Mac. It is 10x easier to use with a Mac.

Another cool feature with the iPhone & iPod touch is the video feature. With the use of a program called Handbrake you can download a DVD to your computer and then sync to your iPhone or iPod. Quality is amazing.
