Ran a test on the drive numerous times and it passes constantly, but sometimes it says "Operating System not found" when rebooted. I notice it says the same thing when no HDD is hooked up. Must be a faulty drive, BTW its from 2002. Any suggestions or advice?

This is all I know about it, very outdated. I'm getting something new very soon. Geforce is a much needed card for games and such and my power supply is only 200watt so I can't get a geforce on it right now. Hopefully it will last for a while longer.
Dell Dimension T600r
Windows XP pro
Bios version A08

Did you delete a partition? Sounds like HD is corrupted or there is a power problem. This is my suggestion: back up your files, format your HD, reinstall OS, etc. If this works it was probably your HD, if not; XPS 410 Product Details (this is the system I recently bought)
Thats a sweet lookin' pc f-dog. Did you buy it straight up?

Yes, but Dell has a Premier Account that has 18 months interest-free. If you go with XPS I suggest upgrading the HD, RAM, graphics card, media port(s). Just a few suggestions, hope they help.
Also, get the TV tuner. It's like Tivo w/o the monthly payments. Record your fav shows and watch them when you want, burn to DVD, etc. Not too expensive either.

sounds like a bios problem.
check your bios settings, see what the boot device priority is set to...
check to see if your HD is showing up in the bios.
