IE is a sinkhole of security issues. Any self respecting Business would NEVER use IE for that simple fact. Compatability issues are much less of a problem than liability issues.

BTW, Chrome > Every other broswer. For serious.

Try Firefox and you will see. Don't listen to the haters. It IS faster and everything displays fine for me. Plus you can get kickass add ons like adblock which I love. Never look at ads again!
While somewhat true, FF is not faster than Chrome or Safari (or anything that uses WebKit) because of it's threading capabilities. Also, instead of installing a bunch of unnecessary add-ons that will bog down the computer's memory, why not make a HOSTS file and be done with it all together? Sure it's ever so slightly more difficult, but it also improves security dramatically regardless of the Browser.

Firefox is a slow memory hog. Chrome is fast as all hell and seems to be way more productive to me. Especially with it's built in search functions and the like.

Businesses use IE all the effing time Tra. Most companies don't even want you installing Firefox or Google garbage on their computers.

They are "faster", but it's not worth it to me. I'd take FF over google chrome any day, but I prefer IE over all three.

I know they do, but businesses are also ******* retarded sometimes. IE is the most vulnerable browser out today. When businesses use it they're just asking to be hacked.

IE only has security holes when compared to FF or Chrome because it is the more popular browser. If FF was 90% of the market you can bet that people would be exploiting it rather than IE. Just look at the Mac and iphone viruses popping up now, heh heh.

ultimately, if you're not surfing questionable content or are savvy then you're really never going to have a security issue in IE, and if you are... then install OneCare. Hate to say it since i was a hardcore Macfee and Norton proponent over the years but nothing is quite as user friendly for virus protection and networking (for someone not very network savvy like myself) as One Care.

look at me, i'm like the mother fu*kin MS rep up in here. hah

Even so, if the program is more susceptible to attack because of popularity and knowledge of it's coding, a switch to a lesser known (an far more powerful) browser would help heaps. And IE isn't insecure like, just because you're being a dumb ass on the internet. IE is insecure because it is notorious for opening holes in firewalls miles wide etc.

Well the addons that I use aren't for speed or anything like that. The most important ones that I like are the no ads. I love that thing and the video downloader with one click. Those two are handy to have.

Thanks to Toxic for the Awesome Sig!

I don't know how anyone can hate chrome the built in spell checker and search function are the great and the fact that I don't have a big as tool bar at the top, its got tabs, its pretty much perfect and I have zero complaints.

TOXIC I SON BOARD!!!

BTW:

Chrome Now supports: Every Addon FF has ever had, custom skins, bookmarlets and is far faster still while using less memory.

No reason not to switch now >:[

I got Joe Rogan to try out Chrome the other day too via twitter because he was complaining about how FF was being buggy and a memory hog
