Sorry, haven't really been updating last few days, been kinda lazy. I haven't been eating very well either, haven't been eating terrible but definitely not enough and not healthy enough. I really need to keep up on it but it's hard with school and work, ugh.
Today, me and my training partner went to the gym and basically just did a bit of everything. Worked on the heavy bag mainly. I really focused on keeping my hands up, my footwork, my high jab, and also worked a lot on thai kicks. After about 30-45 minutes of heavy bag, I did a little shadow boxing with 2lb weights. After this I put on mah Gi and did some grappling with my buddy. We started from our knees and did maybe 20 minutes of rolling? I pulled guard every time and did really well. He's been out of the game for a bit(couple months) but I managed to submit him 3 times(kimura, triangle, guillotine) and also swept him a good 3-4 times. I also held guard for the most part, and every time he passed I got my position back. All in all we were there for about an hour and 45 minutes. Pretty good day
Have you tried stiff legged deadlifts? I used to do them all the time then went to standard ones for my back. On saturday (squat day) I decided to do stiff leg dl for my hammys but I think my form was off because the next day my lower back was sore, maybe I was leaning over my toes too far or something?... do you feel it in your lower back when you do them? I always thought they;re more for your hamstrings.. was considering doing good mornings again too.. what do you do for your hams?

Ill throw in some SLDL's on my squat day, and plan on putting in GM's as well. Right now I just do back, front, and OH squats and it seems to hit my legs(overall) pretty ******* hard. But ya, SLDL are weird and they just feel like regular DL's, its weird
Back Squats:
120x1x8
150x1x5
170x1x5
180x1x4
190x1x3
205x1x1(good depth, definitely past parallel)
Front Squats:
140x1x5
140x1x5
140x1x5
Romanian Deadlifts: (getting used to these)
140x1x8
160x1x8
180x1x5
*didn't feel like I was doing these right, but hopefully my hammys hurt tomorrow!*
Bag Work/GnP
Warmed up with 2-3 minutes of jump rope, then hit the bag for 20 minutes. I tried to go non-stop but did have a few 15-20 second breaks. I really focused on my 1-2 and how it sets up other combos. I was messing around with a lot of combos including a double 1-2 and also a 1-2-1-right hook. After this I jump roped for another 2-3 minutes. I then took my heavybag inside and did some GnP with my 4oz gloves on. I focused on everything equally and did this for about 15 minutes.
