Your squats and deads are a lot better than your bench...I am the opposite, for obvious reasons. I'm good at Bench and curls, fairly good at OH presses and such and my Squats and deads are weak as piss.

Ya man, my bench press is pathetic. I'm gonna start just going into my garage(which is connected to my room) and benching 1-2 times a week, trying to improve mass and strength. I don't think bench is a very important lift for fighting, I just want to be stronger at it and have a nice chest(what a homo, I know).

Bench aint important, but its better than shitty curls lol.
Anylift that puts a lot of stress on your back is pretty weak as far as I am concerned, just cos I haven't been able to develop them as much.
I had a bench put in my romm ages ago, good ole birthdays lol. My parents kept getting me weights too, so I got real good at benching pretty quickly. I'd much rather be better at one handed snatches and DL.
Also I wanna get kettlebells somewhere, theyd be awesome to have at home, and I seriously need to invest in a sledge. Im gonna get my dad one as a present*cough*

Well I do squats and everything on my bench as well, I'm sure you can too. You can do basically every compound lift with just a barbell. One handed BB snatches are probably the manliest lift alive. I wanna start doing them

Tuesday September 11th
weight before class:158
Bjj Class 730-9PM
Worked on a guard pass. Rolled w/ 2 other white belts and did pretty good. Got submitted decent amount of times(mainly due to fatigue) but got some good sweeps and position. The 1st guy was 180lbs the 2nd was 195, and I think I held my own vs both. I noticed that I play the half-guard game a lot, and am seriously thinking about picking up an Eddie Bravo book b/c his half guard stuff is sick.
weight after class:156

you should look for bas rutten training tape. its good for shadow boxing in such...plus hearing him say left jab right straight just sounds awesome...by the 8th round or so im pretty sure hes drunk cuz you cant hardly understand him anymore.
i didnt read everything you had on there but didnt see jumping rope...you should work that in, really helps foot work, and makes your calves strong so you dont get tired doing stance work.

I actually do skip rope pretty often. I have a jump rope at my house and pick it up and skip with it usually whenever I see it. I also use it for warm ups before doing heavy bag work. I agree it does help w/ footwork and my calves are naturally big+strong, but helps with the muscular endurance of them. I've heard a lot of good things about Bas' tapes but I know they're more cardio based than anything, and I feel like ordering a movie just for cardio is kind of a waste of money.

you can probably get it free off a site, or kazaa or something. its not a video either its a tape, or cd i donno i just listen to it when my coach plays it. it would be sweet to put it on an ipod.
to me it doesnt seem hard enough to really be cardio, its more just motivated shadow boxing. sometimes it can be hard to just sit in throw combinations on your on, but the voice telling you can help
