Ya it's when you are higher up, which makes the ROM longer, and helps with speed off the floor. Deads where the bar are higher are referred to as rack pulls, or pulls off blocks.
Today was a decent day. My muscular endurance sucks, but I already knew that. I was pretty happy to hit 139x10, but I wanted to do it for 3 sets, oh well. 139x10 is either a PR, or ties a PR, that I know for sure.
You aren't getting under the bar enough IMO, and there is something about the path of the bar I don't like. I'll try to actually watch the video properly when I get back later tonight and my internet isn't being a bitch. And your second pull doesn't seem explosive enough, with getting up on your toes.

I will when I get back, but my internet is being an asshole, and the vid wasn't loading in time.
I must commend you on the pistols, since the last time I tried them I barely managed to get a single one without falling on my ass, and many failed attempts.
