Weight: 167.5 pounds! Most I've weighed in my life I believe...
Today was a pretty good day, my triceps are absolutely fried right now, damn. I'm not too far off from 183x5, probably a few more bench sessions til I get it.
I just think it's more realistic to try and get my #'s up with higher reps than maxes, then I can try and max out after that. I don't want to max out again until I'm sure I can hit some PR's. I also don't always have a spotter, so it sucks doing heavy bench singles.
And like you said, if I can hit 183x5 I'm probably good for ~225. One of my main goals with bench is to gain some mass on my chest too, so ya.
I don't know how you max out your squat without a powercage. I'm going to try this Sheiko stuff, but I think the only times I have ever really hit PRs is when I have been doing a lot of heavy triples, doubles and singles.

Ya I just need to focus on making progress. I'm going to start making little short term goals and just focus on hitting them. If I can add 10 pounds to each of my lifts every 2 months I'll be happy. And I have never really "maxed out" on squats because I haven't had a powercage... I hit 260 a while back and it was pretty easy, so idk.
So yesterday I worked with my dad in the morning pouring concrete and shit. Later on in the day I went for a hike with my buddies and the dogs, it was pretty intense. I'm super ******* sore today, especially my lower back and calves. I'm supposed to squat tomorrow so hopefully my body is up for it.

**My lower back has been killing me the last 3 or 4 days, so today was kind of hard. I wanted to work up to 205x5 which I was happy with, and the front box squats were cool too, but my back was just killing me so I kept it short and sweet.
I was dissapointed with Siders overall placement, hopefully he can continue to get better.
Yeah, it was a great race at the end. Poundstone is a beast... and those guys are all ******* huge. Pekanov, I believe his name is, weighed 418 pounds! Insane. And Misha on the deadlift was ridiculous as always.
Poundstone is so ridiculously jacked it's not even funny, he actually looks like a comic book character. I also find it unbelieveable he got that thing for 15 reps when he and Savickas both did only 9 last year.
My favourite event is the apollons axle, man, Misha powercleaned that thing seven times, I have never seen anything like that. It was like he was using a regular bar. Siders getting it for eight also made me happy.
I still have to watch all of the deadlift and the stones. Poundstone is the second best strongman in the world right now.
Oh and WTF with Siders getting ONE rep on the circus Dumbbell? I was thinking he'd be top 3 in that.
