Yeah I think it's still processing, or something. Fuckin' youtube.
I bet I could of hit 194 for 3, but I had no spotter so wasn't going to try it today. It's really hard for me to get bench PR's but it looks like I'm finally getting there.
Careful how much you arch your back. The flatter the better, you arch it too much your encorporating your lower back muscles, taking away from the purpose of the benchpress, isolation on the chest.
Other than that great lift, looks good. I'm finally back on here and I should have some vids up real soon.

wut?
Nice lifting wukka, good form man. Loved the "oh yes!" at the end of it. I think you could get a 3rd too, but I know how lifting without a spotter feels, just keeping banging out heavy doubles and that third one will be easy.
Killer_instinct, isolation shit is for body builders, watch a powerlifter bench.

I would disagree that the purpose of the bench press is to isolate the chest muscle... by arching your back and incorporating more muscles, you can move more weight more quickly, which is the ultimate purpose. More weight is the key.

Thanks dude. I'm going to do 172x5x5 next bench session, then hit 194x3x3 after that. Maybe one day I'll be able to bench as much as you... probably not.
Wow those are odd weight #'s. Is that a standard olympic bar, I believe those are 45lbs...at least the ones at my gym are. If you're interested in a very good bench press routine, I would suggest this one...
Use the links at the bottom under "The Newest Version". This routine took my bench from 235 to 275 in about 6 weeks. I've had a few weeks off of the program and am about to start a new one. I was thinking of doing my own log on this site for fun. My hopes is to break 300 this time around.
