I liked how you improvised man, great stuff! The pulls looked good just a very little bit of lower back rounding, but I've always fun that in rack pulls that doesn't matter as much. Good work

Thanks dude, I appreciate it. My deadlift form always breaks down when the weight gets heavy, usually at like anything above 300 pounds, so I'm definitely working on that.
04.29.09
Bench
Barx10
128x5
172x3
183x5... last 2 reps the spotter touched the bar, first 3 reps were very solid. I'm not going to count it as a PR, but I am counting the reps.
194x2
194x2
Dips
BWx10
BW+22x8
BW+22x8
Floor Press
128x5
172x2 FAIL on 3, these were hard
128x5
128 + chains x 5
128 + chains x 3, failed 4th
Strict Yates Row
128x8
150x5
150x5
150x5
150x5
**Various Grip Work
Weight: 167.5 pounds! I was 171.5 on Monday... dropped 4 pounds in about 48 hours lol.
****Today was decent overall, I wasn't overly happy with the 183x5, but it went OK I geuss. My bench is starting to plateau with the 5-reppers for sure, so I'm going to focus on hitting bench heavy with low reps, and throwing in some high rep stuff too. Floor press was interesting but I won't be doing it again for a while, not until I get my bench up.

Some mother****er stole my last Bench PR by jumping in when the weight hadn't even stalled on my fifth rep of 187. ******* incompetent spotters. I guess pausing at the top of a rep and taking a big breath translates as "Please take this bar from me the second it comes off my chest." to them.
Been busy, plus I'm bored of the forum minus the training section, and bored with the sport. I threw up my ;ast two Starr workouts on SnP, mainly because I have my training log there favourited so it's easier to get to.
Nice improv on the car jacks and diversity with the floor press with chains and the Yates row btw.

Ya I hate that shit, my buddy did it today with me too. It's funny on my video of the 194x2 he tries to grab the 2nd rep and you hear me yell "NO!" in the middle of my struggle and I end up hitting the rep lol.

For sure, my sherd0g account hasn't been working, so I haven't updated my log there, but there seems to be more activity here with you, me, GSP, recon, and Scarecrow, who is another person stronger than me argh.

My dad knows nothing about lifting and he's the best spotter I ever had. He never complains about it and he always knows the exact moment when to jump in. I wish I could bring him to the gym with me.
I might just stick around the training section here, I don't know. A big log is a useful resource to look back on. I definitely need to be tracking my workouts to make progress anyway.

For sure, plus I want to see your lifting, and we can both compare ourselves to recon and realize how weak we are.

You're also weak, so yes, you're in!

51x10
Front Squat
128x5
172x5x5 PR
Box(back) Squat
+belt
216x10 PR
216x8

**Solid day of squatting today. 216x10 was a tough set. I'm thinking sets of 10 are a bit much for OH Squats, we'll see though.
