Man, this knee is doing my head in. I've been shadow boxing every second of every day. I've been watching Fight Quest every day. I've been studying martial arts (learned a lot about Shuai Jiao, now learning about Baguazhang).
Every day I'm thinking about martial arts, but every single time I try and put a pivot to my elbow or punch, I feel like my knee is caught in a bubble. You know when your big toe feels like it's got some fluid in it or something, so you grab it and jerk it to the side so that it clicks? That's what my knee feels like. I want to be able to pull it to the side, click it, then it'll be fine.
I planned on going back this week but if one in every 15 punches has me creasing a little but, what will happen when I have some training adrenaline in me? My right leg is completely written off because it's my left knee, so throwing a right kick is out of question.
Any suggestions on anything I can do at home that will give me the "martial arts satisfaction"? I was thinking I could take the bag out, hit it without pivoting and standing in place, and maybe throw barely contacting kicks with my left leg (only problem there is landing heavy on it if I'm tired).
