Mon 1-10: BJJ was more guard passes, one called the Stutzman b/c that's who taught it to my teacher, then a super cool one where you put your hands on their armpits or biceps, then post the top of your head and outer hand to the mat, kick up into a handstand, then pass into scarf hold or w/e. Then 4 mile run.
EDIT: That guard pass was just called the up and over butterfly, if you're in someone's butterfly guard.
Tue: 4 mile run. Ow
Wed: Rested
Thur: Judo. We threw the line and did a bunch of randori going into newaza.
Fri: A few rounds of live rolling, more guard passes, then 3 mile run, during which I felt weeeeeeeeek. Private karate lesson later, as I hope to test for my orange belt next month.
Sat: rested
Sun: rested. I'm super pissed that my teacher promoted someone who muscles the techniques and hurts his training partners all the time. I think those on the spot "you owe me a test within 60 days" promotions are a little spur of the moment and emotion-driven to be appropriate in a dojo. IDK why I'm trying to belt test for two arts within 6-8 weeks again, it makes me so grouchy.

Mon 1-17: BJJ was two passes from butterfly guard, the up and over that we did last week, and the one where you kick your leg back, bring it back up to pin their calf, then spin into reverse mount. Then my uke/tori for judo came and we drilled hiza guruma, harae goshi, tae otoshi, tomoe nage, tskurikomi goshi, amongst a bunch of other things. We are both testing in about 4 weeks. PM karate was a lot of stretching, kicking drills, then blitzing and defensive kick drills on the heavy bag.
Tue: Sprawl drills from quickstep, then kick shield drills, then stretching.
Wed: 1.5 mile run, then kickboxing which was sprints, dead man drags, bunny hops, army crawl up and down the floor, then more kick shield drills.
Thur: Nothing this AM, legs hurt a lot from Tue and Wed. Judo later, will update accordingly.
Thur: Judo was super awesome. I got a few new throws, hiza guruma, surikomi goshi, koshi guruma, and sase surikomi....I forgot the rest of the name. There was a ton of randori and I was totally excited. I worked with my uke afterward, and one of the BJJ guys got on the mat and graciously let us throw him around.
Fri: Kicking drills, pushups, situps, mountain climbers, and kata in my private lesson getting ready to belt test for karate.
Sat: Judo. It was a big class with a ton of randori, just like I like it.
Sun: rested

lol, "he-haw." 185 clean and press is pretty damn good, too. It takes a lot of core stability to maintain 185 overhead with such a narrow grip.

I think I'd have to start with, like, whatever half of 135 is. It looks like I'd tear something TBH. I suspect I may be lacking in lower back strength.

Mon: karate was kata and sparring drills. The class was big for my dojo, about 25 people, so there was hardly room to do kata, which was funny. During the sparring drills I kept almost tripping over the little kids that were totally everywhere.
Tue: rested
Wed: This is normally a combination class with some grappling, but there were a lot of new people, so it was all kick shield and pad work, which was fine with me, as I love both. I got scolded for using elbow strikes, however. I love elbow strikes and sometimes I try to sneak them into pad work.
Thur: Judo was the usual stretching/jumping jacks/situps/pushups warmup, then uchikomi, then we worked the o uchi gari/ko uchi gari transition in randori and butsugari gaiko, adding in o soto toshi. Since a bunch of the yellow belts are testing for orange belt soon, we stayed after and drilled harae goshi, uki goshi, tae otoshi, seioi toshi, koshi guruma, hiza guruma, tomoe nage, hanae goshi, and a few others. I tried to get uchimata a few times. I understand how to do it, but I'm not getting enough tae sabaki in it yet. I would like to test with some form of sutemewaza. I think we're going to test in about 3 weeks. I have to plan around my uke, b/c he has more demands on his time than I do.
Fri: BJJ was up and over butterfly pass, but I just drilled it on a GnP bag while the guys tried to choke each other out and pummel each other into the mat. Then I drilled reverse mount a lot, then we learned ham sandwich. The 10th Planet terminology is kind of annoying TBH. Every time I hear something like "Plan B" or "Alcatraz" I'm thinking, what is it really? Then later I took a private for my karate belt test and did a ton of totally ghey combination kicks and strikes again. Go ahead and judge my sport-karate-doing self, but there are speed/agility/flexibility/balance benefits that it provides. Also, there's noplace in town that trains MT, unless I want to go to somebody's house and pay $50 an hour; I don't think so.
Sat: rested
Sun: rested. FAIL

Mon 1-31: jump rope/plank/situp/pushup warmup like usual, then focus pad drills and live standup drills. One of my partners is in the habit of looking over my shoulder at our teacher, who has taken her to one amateur kickboxing match (she lost by decision). I kept thinking, take your eyes off your opponent like that in a fight and you'll lose by KTFO.
Tue: rested
Wed: Repeat of Monday. The last two Wednesdays, there have been a lot of new people, so it's been all standup.
Thur: Grappling class, then belt test practice with a few of the other judoka who are preparing to test. I'm testing with harae goshi, koshi guruma, o uchi gari, ko uchi gari, and possibly tomoe nage. Due to my instructor's going out of town soon, and my uke's limited access to the gym (he is not a full member) I am now testing this coming Saturday, so I'm trying to prepare carefully and not get incredibly nervous.
Fri, Sat, Sun: I don't remember what I did. I do know that the following Thursday, I got my judo orange belt.

Sun 2-20: tested for karate orange belt. My karate sensei likes to go all Lou Gossett with situps, mountain climbers, etc. before you go through JCVD kick drills, which are encouraged to be slide kick drills. I was able to slide through about 2/3 of them. Then I did strike and blocking drills, and ran through my kata and the bunkai for 4 kata.....try not to be too jelluz! There were at least two other people testing today, so I probably won't find out whether or not I passed for a couple of weeks or so. Two belt tests in two weeks BOOYAH!
Mon: AM BJJ was head and arm triangles. PM kickboxing was typical jump rope/kick shield warmup and drills, then light live standup, but we all had to wear headgear because he wants us to hit harder, and because we took turns with just evading, no counterstriking.
Tue: rested
Wed: all standup, all the time. It was stations, like heavy bag drills, ground bag drills, a lot of jump rope, shadowboxing/sprawl, floor sits, wall jumps, stuff like that.
Thur: Judo was all uchimata. IDK if I'll ever refine it to the point that it'll be my tokuiwaza, but I loved it.
Fri.: Not going anywhere due to a new car combined with insane blizzard conditions and very bad roads.
Sat: Judo was uchimata and uchimata gaeshi, also butsugari gaiko and light randori. It wasn't as much cardio as I would have liked. Unless it is of epic proportions, I am not letting a snowstorm keep me away from the gym anymore.

Sun 2-27: Karate, which was the ordinary kicking drills, stretches, pushups, situps etc.
Mon: Kickboxing (jump rope/kick shield/light live standup drills)
tue: rested
Wed: Just like Monday.
Thur: Judo was my first introduction to kumikata and getting the fast ippon, as some of the people in my club are preparing to compete. It was fun as shit but not as much cardio as I would have liked. My training partner had a doubleweave and I had to work to grip his lapel or collar at all, so I went after his sleeves a lot.
Fri: Ezekiel choke from mount and a couple of escapes from the sleeve grip. I worked on S mount/knee on belly/side control/full mount drills on the ground bag, then ran 2 miles. TBH, a lot of sport judo looks like jiu-jitsu, at least to my relatively untrained eye.
Sat: Judo was further kumikata and blocking out how a match would be run, as much of the class has never competed in judo. My girl uke was there, so it was awesome.
Sun: rested

Mon 3-7: jump rope/kick shield/plank/situp/pushup warmup, then dynamic floor drills up and down the floor with a partner. My sensei, for some reason, had a full-on mantrum because some people screwed up the hand combinations. I feel like when people are paying you to help them work out, you probably shouldn't yell quite that much. Granted, he works with a lot of annoying little kids, but it's still a little unprofessional.
tue: rested
Wed: Same as Wednesday, complete with mantrum. Clearly I wasn't the only one in the dojo who had their period.
thur: Judo was a few uchikomi rotations, then we threw the line for about 30 min, then butsugari gaiko.
Fri: 3 mile run where I had to stop a lot to stretch my calves out, then hit the speed bag.
Sat: rested
Sun: rested. I have to stop resting both weekend days, especially if I'm also resting on Tuesday.
