SHIT.
We've been in a baseball tournament all weekend, so no work outs yet.
We played yesterday at 8:30 am, won, played at 11:30 am, won that, played again at 2:30 pm, won, then just sat in the parking lot and had some pops until 5:00 pm. Won last game of the day too. 4-0 on Saturday.
Had to go back today for the championship game today at 11:30 am, which we lost by 1. So, left with a 2nd place plaque.
Anyway, long story kinda short...haven't lifted in a few, but I'm moving some f'n WATER out in the heat. Had to have lost @ LEAST 5-7 pounds in water weight alone this weekend. AND...have another game tonight at 8:30.
Be back at it tomorrow.

Alright, so...I'm starting a new work out schedule, just want to up my training a bit, kick it into overdrive. Here's what my shit will look like:
Monday: Heavy Bench, Inclines, Assistance
Wednesday: Squat, Assistance
Thursday: Speed Bench, Tris, Assistance
Saturday: DL, Back, Assistance
See how that goes. Still doing progressive overload though. I'm amped to see if I get anything out of the new schedule...should be interesting to say the least.
Anyway, here's today's W.O.:
Monday, June 2nd, 2008
Bench (Training RAW)
25 x Bar
15 x 135
8 x 185
6 x 230
4 x 255
2 x 285
1 x 305
Incline
10 x 135
10 x 185
10 x 205
10 x 225
Front Iso-Lateral Raises (w/ 45 lb. plate)
5 reps - shoulder height
5 ""
5 ""
5 ""
Rear Deltoid Machine
10 x 110
10 x 120
10 x 130
10 x 130
Abdominal Nautilus Crunch Machine
25 x 45 lbs.
25 x 60 lbs.
25 x 65 lbs.
25 x 65 lbs. (breathing a tad bit heavy once I got up!)
Dumbbell Shrugs
20 x 60
20 x 70
20 x 75
20 x 80
Body-Weight: 184.0 even (I figure I lost a shit-ton of water weight this past weekend in that tournament...even though I was pumping it, I was just sweating it back out you know? So, just maintaining. I mean, we were out at the complex for 13 hours Sat., then 6 hours Sun.) Not that I mind though, cause I'm tan as F*CK now!
----------
All in all, I felt ALRIGHT at best today. My shoulders and the inside of my right elbow were sore as f*ck from the weekend. My hams and calves too, geeezuz. Not fun.
Joe came strolling in when I was about done with abs, so I didn't get to lift with him, which sucked, but oh well. Otherwise, not too much of mention, besides my fingers tingling when I was working out (that pre-workout mixture)!
sweet.
P.S. - IF YOU DECIDE TO STOP THROUGH, LEAVE ME SOMETHING. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT IT IS, I APPRECIATE QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, DOESN'T MATTER.
I LOVE IT ALL EQUAL!

What kind of baseball do you play? Is it competative or just for fun? Position? How do you start when you come into the gym? A run and then try to get the heavy stuff out the way?

It's actually a select league, that I had to try out for. Once I made it, I was going to be placed on a team, but a bunch of my buddies made it as well...so we just put our own squad together. It's like a step-under minor league baseball, where scouts come out and watch you know...just to see who is legit and who is just sub-par. It's good shit. If the right scout comes through, and is affiliated with a team who has a void at either of my positions, I could get signed. So, I'm hoping for the best, but I can't predict anything, know what I'm sayin'?
I play 2B and SS.
When I enter POWERHOUSE, I usually run for a quick 5 min. on the treadmill, stretch with bands for about 10 minutes, then I begin my work out.

How's NEVER sound? Good? Awesome.
Anyhow...just got home from work a little bit ago, and guess what I got in the mail today!?!? My f*cking gold shipment! About time it arrived.
I'm done with that other pre-work out mixture I was doing. Didn't feel very potent.
BACK TO WHAT I'M USED TO.
Here's what I got:
BSN CellMass (960g)
BSN NO-XPLODE (1230g)
Universal Animal Pak (15 & 44 pak - got 'em both)
So...intake:
NO - 2 scoops, 30 min. before work outs
CellMass - 2 scoops, during work out, after I train each of the "Big 3" (Squat, Bench, DL). I'm going to mix it with Apple Juice, because that will inject the protein directly into my muscle fibers, instead of the time it takes with water.
Animal Pak - 2 paks daily: one when I wake up (3 am), and one when I'm done training (usually after 6 pm).
Kick FREAKING ass.
Will get back on this sh!t tomorrow.
Squats in about an hour.

Dude, careful with that stuff. If you aren't careful, you can accidentally make a bomb
