Went today, first day at THE GYM OF DEATH!!!

Well, my partner who is a stocky 200lbs sucks ass. With what I busted out a WU set of ten with, he did 3. It was downhill from there. Basically I did 3 sets of flat bench, working up a pyramid, 3 sets of seated arnold press(I ******* know) and 3 sets of CG bench. My training partner did a set of bench with barely any weight(also his first ever time benchiing BB), some seated military press, and some skullcrushers with a tiny ROM and a ridiculously huge amount of weight. He is also an overly catious spotter.

At least I finally did some cardio, 10 mins on the treadmill.


Tomorrow I bring a 120lb friend of mine who has never lifted before with me for my pull day. Should be fun.

The guy was with today will be a challenge since he is a complete curl monkey, who knows nothing about training and doesn't seem to want to know. This is the same guy who showed clear shock and exasperation at the idea of training "Legs". Now the guy I am bringing tomorrow, not so much. Hes weak as shite but he is at least enthusiastic and doesn't care about "getting a six pack" or getting ripped but just wants to be strong and "beat people who start on me". I'm going to talk to him for like an hour before we even hit the gym about the importance of compound exercises and eating healthily, and send the guy a bitch load of links on strength training, but before squats and DL I must see if he can do a pullup lol.

That stocky kid sounds like me when I first started training. He'll learn eventually. Fun read though, man. Good luck with that, it sounds like quite the task.

Well, he can do pullup. Just one, but its a start. Had the guy doing DB rows and shrugs aswell, as all the bars were taken. Didn't fully grasp what I was working with, this guy is like Bale in the machinist, he is that skinny but it's natural and he eats normally.

Ran a mile and a half before training and it fucked me up. No more cigarettes. No more going out and getting drunk off my ass and staying out till three after training either, my backs in shit.

Gotta try and have him squat the bar and use correct form the next day, which will hopefull be tomorrow.

I'll try to start logging this thing properly again next week.

Well, I failed yet another goal(by 5 ******* lbs!!), but yeah was pretty happy with this.
