Yeah, I'm just pissed my last two bench sessions have been gay.

My wrists are destroyed from the combination of coc work, strapless shrugs and timber cutting/moving before the last days workout. If they aint feeling better tomorrow I will have to put off deading till wed.

Stretching and shadowboxing today.

I have many sawhorses at my house, but they are too high and I can't hit proper depth with them. Either way, my last squat session was 5 singles @ 100% of my 1RM and I didn't need a rack

Well I do push myself, every time I work out, just not in a safe way.

I'm also not a fan of failed reps. They are counter-productive.

Nothing you hit outside a rack/without a spotter on bench is going to be your true 1RM/3RM/5RM. You are probably working with 90% of it.

I don't advocate failed reps either, but nothing that you don't come very close to failing is really your max. I certainly can't concentrate fully on getting a squat if I am worried about having to dump the weight, since it is awkward as ****.

Ya I understand what you mean, but my mentality with squats is a lot different than other lifts. I'm very confident in hitting the lift, and have come superrrr close to failure before, but I always drive through.

I don't really worry about dumping the weight, but rather focus on hitting the rep.
