Bingo! Negation, I've had some solid success using OH Squat (with just a broom stick) step ups to help out with that, because if you start rounding you damn near fall, I always did them in front a mirror so you can make sure everything is right.

Oh hell yeah, thats something I need to address and have been putting work into(not very much, but still). Am I wrong to lump lower back in with my core training? Thats what I diagnosed as the problem with my squats, lack of lower back strength. Which I know I have, it felt like putty after those hypers with 10kg.
I've already been woring on planks, rollouts, knee raises and shit.

The upper back pulling is because my lockouts haven't been as strong as I'd like on deadlifts. And because I like it in general.

I hate OH squats, cause I suck at them.
Why do you reccommend step ups?

Step-ups are a great core stabalizer. Read these: Link Link 2.

Both address the lower back, and there are links to multiple core threads in that first link which are useful. I doubt you have a weak lower back, because if your back is rounding the load is going onto your lower back more than it should be. Your core needs to be tight to hold your spine in place so your back can stay straight.

Hmmm, I always thought a weak lower back would be one of the things that contributed to lumbar flexion. Since I planned to increase my core strength and hamstring flexibility anyway, I should have all the bases covered.

Did some COC2 work today, which was probably retarded since my forearms have been giving me a bit of trouble recently, but **** it.

I've been drunk and busy. I feel pretty good now though, I think I will max some shit out tomorrow and do some grip training. My diet has been abysmal, even for me. I need to start running up and down this mountain near me.
