Yup, except a few times I had to readjust my grip. Slow descent aswell. None of that kip up pull ups stuff.

Isn't the hard part of a deadlift supposed to be getting it from your shins up past your knees?

It depends. I'm way stronger at my lockout and weak off the floor. The hardest part for me is getting it off the ground but if I get it up w/ speed I always lock it out

I'm exactly the same. I generally fail the first time I try to get it off the floor on the heavy weights but locking it out is piss.

If that's the case you should start doing deadlifts while standing on a 20kilo plate or on like a 1-3" box. Another thing that helps is doing DE work, where you pick like 60% of your 1-rep max and doing like 6 sets of 2 reps and focus on just speed and good form. Also, heavy front squats

I'll probably do some DE work I'm not too worried about my DL though. I'm more worried about my squat.

I'll test my out my 1RM and then I've got a month, 31 days to hit my goals.

Ya I hit 260 yesterday and it went up pretty easy. I'm hoping to put up 315 definitely by September/October, we'll see.
