Just a simple chest day, first day back in the gym since Sunday. Tomorrow = back, shoulders, and biceps. Got off work for most of next week so I'll definitely be up at the gym more.

Monday 09.22.08
Did some hammer strength lat pulldowns, bor's, low rows, t-bar rows, pull ups, and shoulders today in the gym.
DB OH Press
45'sx12
45'sx10
50x8
50x6
That's all I really care to record. Low row, I made it up to 150x5, BOR's = 135 or so. Kind of lazy right now so yeah, my fault for that. I'll be back at it tomorrow. It's been a real tough time, broke up with my GF & my grandma passed away the day after so I've had a lot on my mind. See ya' guys tomorrow hopefully.

Ab day as well. Focused on light triceps to add some definition to the bulkiness and had to get in some abs, haven't done them in a good ass month and a half. Tomorrow shall be leg day.

R&*r~!
Sore as a bitch, growth in the back, shoulders, and triceps is coming along. I feel it so much right now. I'd hate to take tomorrow off from working out but I might have to do it with the soreness I'm feeling now. Going to take some BCAA's and hope for a recovery but I'm not going to overwork my muscles.

Sunday 09.28.08
DB OH Press
45x8x2
50x5x3
55x3x2
Clean & Press
95x10x2
115x6x2
Upright Rows
90x15
100x8
Flat BB Press
135x10
155x5x3
165x3
**Felt weak as shit on the bench..**
Other notes: Went to do some barbell rows as my last exercise, warmed up with 115 easily for 8 reps. Put on 135 and was only able to power up 3 reps. I was getting ready to redo that set because 135 is light weight for me in rows, but I felt horrible. Ran to the washroom and threw up all over the place, straight water. Funny thing is that I ate two hours before I went to workout and I've had plenty of gatorade. It was weird. Shitty day.

Take a few days off for recovery... make sure you're getting enough sleep and nutrition too.

The last time I worked out was Tuesday so I don't know what the problem could have been. I've been sitting around bored as hell, watching the football games so I did some light squatting strictly for conditioning and endurance:
Squat
135x15x2 (Front Squat)
155x10 (Back Squat)
165x8 (Back Squat)
175x8 (Back Squat)
Might do some light deadlifting later on, too...

I've been too lazy to record my workouts lately but on Sunday, I did some Deadlifts & BOR's. Monday = squats, yesterday = bench + triceps. Today I'm thinking abs, cardio, and possibly back again.
I need to change my routine, I'm not seeing any gains in my upper body & upper body lifts. My deadlift 1rm has gone up about 40 lbs as well as my squat going up about 30 lbs, but it feels like I'm actually losing progress on the bench & military press. If anybody has some recommendations, please let me know. I'm thinking about going with a hypertrophy program rather than a program centered around strength because it's clearly not working as of right now.

Happened to have a viral infection that eventually progressed into a serious issue over the last week. I got sicker than a dog on Wednesday night. My fever was 106 degrees, had to be rushed to the hospital. I couldn't get it to descend even with medicine, the doctors thought I could potentially go deaf and lose all my hearing. Thank God that I didn't but it was a tough week/weekend. Missed school, lost 12 pounds in four days or so, and lost a lot of muscle.
Something caught onto me, I could tell when I started throwing up during that workout awhile ago because my body has a high threshold for pain usually. Anyways, my progress is pretty much destroyed at this point and I'm sure my 1RM's for everything as well as my overall strength decreased marginally but at this point, I'm just optimistic. I'll be working out tomorrow after I get some College make-up work done. Thought I'd update you all.
