Lost! ****, eh?

First round I dominated. We stood for a good piece of it, I kept the range and landed lots of kicks, legs and heads. One head connected really ******* hard and he went down on his ass. The ref almost called it. I dived in but unfortunately wasn't smart about it and got put in guard. I pounded the eff out of him for rest of the round and he was bleeding immensely. He tries to armbar but it's going nowhere and goes for a kneebar at the end round,I think he sweeps but the round had already ended.

Second rounds starts similar to the first with landing some strikes, but not the gusto of the first. He shoots and scores a takedown and finds mount immediately. I get trapped there for the rest of the fight in the corner getting my face pounded in. I just couldn't get out, and after eating a ton of punches the ref eventually called it.

Well, fault awful earlier this week but I'm getting better now. The biggest issue now is my sleeping pattern is a disaster. Also get light headaches, light headednesses and feel overall weak. I think this is actually my second concussion. I pulled out of my fight for July 16th.

Got back into the gym, my goal right now is just to hit weights 3x a week and rebuild basic strength through compound lifts. Then I'll start introducing the rest. I'll be using the Starting Strength program for this.

Workout A
Squats: 3 x 5
Bench Press: 3 x 5
Deadlift: 1 x 5
Dips (weighted): 2 x 5-8

Workout B
Squats: 3 x 5
Press: 3 x 5
Power Clean: 3 x 5
Chin-ups: 3 x 8

Every Workout / Assistance Work / OPTIONAL
Weighted Sit-ups at a 45 degree angle on decline bench: 3 x 5
Weighted Hyper-extensions: 3 x 8

Workouts alternate 3 days week
Week 1: Workouts A, B, A
Week 2: Workouts B, A, B
and so on

Very light workout, feeling very weak today but that will change.

Diet wise this past week has been a write off and I haven't been tracking it. I'll be back to tracking it now, following a a meal plan similar to my cutting diet, with the calories adjusted for a lb a week weight gain. So just more of the lean foods from before with the allowance of occassional cheat food. One habit that I've picked up from this past fight is vegetables. I won't be taking a multivitamin anymore, and will instead be hitting my 8+ servings of fruit and veggies everyday. Adjusted Calorie goal is 3,400 calories a day.

Weight right now is 202.5lbs. Going back on creatine monohydrate so with that and the lifting we should see a quick rise to around 215lbs this summer.

Workout B today. Depressingly low weights and I still felt tired and dizzy by the end of it. I blame the concussion. Weights slightly up next time. Still sitting around 202lbs. My face almost looks normal again.

Weights up, still feeling weak and light headed. Sleeping patterns are a disaster. It's been going 12 hour sleep -> no sleep at all 12 hour sleep -> no sleep at all. Hopefully I can do better soon because it made my first week at work horrible.

There's a fighter's meeting on saturday at the gym. It'll likely be about who corners our fighters, etc. brought up by my last fight. The context of the meeting will likely decide my future at the gym.
