If I say circuit I'll run through one set of each on the list one after the other, then I'll rest, or in this case I moved on to checking kicks and neck bridges, THEN I took 2-3 minutes after that.
Is very sport specific and works the groin/hips in ways I otherwise can't seem to recreate besides just doing muay thai or bjj.

BJJ
Had a great class and got to know the two higher belts. This seems like a cool casual gym to train at and its very closet to my new place, but they're closing at the end of the month. Anyways, I have some contact info and I'm going to keep going here in the meantime.

BJJ
Another fun class, learned a bunch of gi chokes from side control. I got to roll with lots of competent but less experienced guys and they'd ask me questions about specific things that happened. Turns out I like to teach when it's something I genuinely know and can help with.

50lb kettlebell
Warmup
Around the body pass
Halos
Deadlifts
One Hand Swing (each arm) 20,20
One Arm Hangclean (each arm) 10,10
One Arm Push Press (and hold for 5 seconds) (each arm) 6,6
Shortened, half assed workout. I've been getting killed by my new job in Toronto and have zero energy for anything else. Will hopefully picking up something better in the next month or so.

Still just ******* around with kettlebell when I can. Work has been brutal but I'm switching positions next week and should have more free time and sleep in me. There's also a new gym opening up that I'll check out next week. It looks interesting, though there is a weird traditional martial arts vibe to it. We'll see.

Checked out a new gym, they've just moved in a few blocks down the street from me. The school seems to have quite a mix of styles, in sparring alot of the guys seemed to have some TMA styles but they were doing well with it. Class started with muay thai for an hour and then flowed into a no gi/mma type for another hour. Shadowboxing, hitting pads, light standup sparring, takedowns and flow grappling, ground and pound drills, take downs and grappling to submission. Sprints, sprawl drills, and ab sets in between rounds. I got quite a workout and felt classically know-what-I'm-doing-but-out-of-shape-but-not-totally-esque. I enjoyed class and the gym, going to run the week long trial. Membership is 125/month which is a very solid rate... I enjoyed the low ego partners and steady pace of class, and the location is a 10 minute bus. The only catch is the contract sounds like it's for a year with no cancellation. Maybe we can work something out, I've been through too many gyms and move around far too much to be making these kinds of commitments.
