That link has a bunch of info about it, I've been taking it due to wrist pains, and it helps a lot. I also know a lot of people who have used it to get over knee pains, elbow injuries, etc.
Here's a link to buy some, too.

I've never heard of that one, but I'll definitely look into it if the stuff I just ordered isn't pulling its weight. Thanks for the tip!

Ya man, it's not like a typical "supplement," it's an ancient secret that the Indians have been using for thousands of years. It's the only supplement I've taken and actually noticed results.

I'm pretty skeptical with that kind of stuff, but I'll keep it mind and give it a fair shot should the glucosamine+MSM not pull it's weight.

Sparring at the pro gym. 5 mins round, did 2 of standup with takedowns and 2 mma sparring. Was in with Bill Mahood who dominated me thoroughly. I suppose it wouldn't be right to expect to do well here, but I felt like I could have done better. Lots of holes that I'll continue to work on patching up over the last weeks. Gas tank, using movement and striking more to make use of my range advantage, a more active guard to make ground and pounding more difficult, takedown defense, etc. There was a meeting afterwards that dragged on for awhile so tomorrow mornings scratched. The good news is my partners up for doing some morning training with me on friday. Going to hit pads as well as practice ground and pounding and defending against it. Should help sharpen my striking and get more practice with real striking on the ground like I did today. My face looks like shit. Muay Thai + MMA tomorrow.

Yeah, a lot of really knowledgable and smart guys over at Sherdog told me about it, which is why I have such faith in it. I see someone actually suggested it to you in your sd0g log as well, haha.

Yeah, that is pretty funny.
Muay Thai/MMA
Not going to go through it because I have to be up at 5 30am for morning training. Good class though. Feeling sore but relatively alright. There's a BJJ tourny coming up at the end of May. May or may not enter, depending on how the opponent search works out for my fight.

Morning training is the worst, I'm so tired. Did general combos on the pad, kicked the sheild, combos while backing up, practiced blocking/evading, practiced both sides of ground and pound from guard. Productive morning, hopefully it'll become a regular thing. In the meantime I need a nap before muay thai + mma classes tonight.

Absolute Strength Conditioning
Squats 6,6,6 @ 185lbs
Deadlift 6,6,6 @ 185lbs
Chin Up 8,8,8 @ b/w
DB Bench 6,6,6 @ 65lbs
Lightened the weights up significantly because
1) It's the end of the week and I'm beat
2) It's been 2 months since I've done heavy lifting
3) Being mindful of the recent knee pains
4) Being sore for 4 or 5 days will hurt my other training
5) I was going to BJJ class immediately after
Everything felt pretty good. Could have gone heavier but wanted to keep sustainability in mind.
I've been getting really brutal headaches since sparring on wednesday whenever I exert myself. No fun at all. It's supposed to be normal when you start heavy sparring though.
BJJ Class
Showed up in time for guard passes. In advanced class we were doing shark tankings of a few guys. I helped for a two and then I got shark tanked. It was at least 12 guys going 30 seconds at a time but it was from open guard so that helped alot. I was brutally tired but held on. Used a body triangle and controlled posture on smaller opponents and just tried to prevent them from passing guard and then survive and escape when they did. Did pretty good, though the second last guy, a blue belt, got to north south and tapped me with a collar choke. Oh well. Our instructor Dave said he's waiting on his shoulder to get a bit better and then he'll do some rolling with me after class. Should be a good experience.
Sweet glorious rest.

Got my Beta Alanine and my Joint support stuff in. I have no joint soreness whatsoever right now but I wouldn't credit that to it yet, as I'm just coming off of some rest. See what happens as the week progresses.
As for the BA, tried it out today. I took a half dose (teaspoon) about 45 mins before workout with some juice. Seems to be tasteless. At first I got the tinglies in my face and hands, then started to get nauseous as I was eating my pre workout food. I'm going to take it right after the pre workout food next time. I started to feel really energetic and for lack of a better word, powerful, and started getting excited about getting to the gym. Did the burpees again.
Conditioning
Burpees (5x3 minute rounds, 1 min rest)
1 - 30
2 - 24
3 - 23
4 - 23
5 - 20
Total - 120
After last week's brutal exhaustion I didn't think I could make any improvements, especially because my legs are still sore from Saturday's workout. Anyhow, got a few extra in. The BA stuff seems to be legit, I still felt exhaustion, but I barely felt anything as far as soreness or burning in my muscle. It's just going and then it couldn't go anymore. I was drenched in sweat but it felt like I hadn't earned it. I also felt kind of zoned out like I was watching myself workout...I barely remember the actual workout. Kind of cool. I'm taking another half dose for BJJ this evening. So long as it doesn't interfere with my sleep I think I've found a new weapon.

Yeah, BA is good for endurance/cardio stuff, and the tingly feeling is always fun lol.
