I know what an armbar is, but the other elements escaped me. Thanks for clarifying.

well im glad to see that there was a reason.. I was disappointed for ur mental lapse until I saw that pic.

I'm alive but have been slacking a bit, too much time spent on working and girls, not enough spent sleeping and training.

Friday

Taught ladies kickboxing class. Jumped in on the kick sheilds, pad work, and ab circuit.

Lifted.

Ultimate Warrior Workout Week 2 Day 3 Lower Body Workout

All Stationary Warmup Drills 1x10
All Muscle Activation Exercises 1x8

Sprawl Deadlifts 8,8,8,8 @ 145lbs
Dumbbell Clean and Front Squat 8,8,8,8 @ 50lbs each
Dumbbell Side Lunch 8,8,8 @ 60lbs
Ab Circuit
Sprinter Situp 3x16
Bicycles 3x16
Knee Grab Row 3x10

Did 3 rounds on the heavybag as well.

Saturday

2 rounds shadowboxing, 5 rounds on the heavybag. There's some guy at the gym training these two kids to fight all the time when I go into the weights gym. I'm not sure they entirely know what they're doing, but they seem to be working pretty hard on it. He asked me to spar with them on Sunday, but I had to work and then go see family. I'll start bringing sparring gear to the gym though for next time.

Sunday + Monday
Lazy and sick. The caffeine has taken it's toll, the lack of sleep lately has caught up with me, and I feel a bit burnt out. As expected, I've picked up some kind of illness in my underslept and overworked state. I seem to have normal cold symptoms plus whenever I breath deeply I get a sharp pain in my chest. We'll see just how bad it is when I train tomorrow.

Good news on the move. Me and my friend went out to Langley today. Not only did we get our jobs out there, we also found the perfect place to rent. Moving November first. The only downside is I took a slight paycut at the restaurant, and will have to work night shifts before I can get a day job. This will be okay, my friend's doing much better on his knee injury and we're anticipating spending alot of time on our own doing pad work. A month with a lot of pad work and a lot of sparring and I'll be in fight shape.

Feeling much better today. No caffeine for 2 days and 8+ hours of sleep each day.

Skipping, drilled comobos. Step slide 2 + 3 as you pivot. Then we did leading with the back foot sideways while you throw the 3, then a 2 and lead leg kick to the body. Also did clinch work and an escape. One hand wraps behind the head and pulls while the other dips under the elbow. I found that this lits their arm in a way that makes it very easy to step into a standing arm triangle. Probably can`t finish from a stand, but it's and easy trip or slam to the ground to finish. In MMA we worked the Glover sweep. Hook under the near knee, instead of taking the far underhook, the hand is braced against their shoulder as you lift the leg and get into deep half guard. Once under them, the arm hooked around the leg switches to their other leg, coming around and gripping at their knee cap, cradle the leg and work with their resistance to spin around on top. My first time working with 'deep half guard'. Kind of confusing but I was picking it up a bit. Then we drilled from half guard. I did really well, getting a variety of sweeps and a knee bar, then a variety of passes and a knee bar on top. Good day.

Someone snaked the place we were going to rent so we're going back out tomorrow to look for a new one. Damnit.

Conditioning tomorrow and then training in either Langley or Chilliwack, depending on where I am when the time comes.

What's an uchimata pushup? Somebody hip throws you and you push up and get back up, or what?

Still around, just busy. I'm finding it extremely difficult to keep up with this thing lately.

Friday

Taught ladies kickboxing, did abs with them

Ultimate Warrior Workout Week 3 Day 2 Lower Body Workout

Lower Body
Sprawl Deadlifts 4x8@145lbs
Dumbbell Clean and Front Squat 3x8@50lbs each
Barbell Lunge 3x8@60lbs

Was in a rush and couldn't do the warm up. Good workout.

Saturday

Burpees (5x3 minute rounds, 1 min rest)
1 - 31
2 - 28
3 - 25
4 - 25
5 - 26
Total - 135

I did burpees instead of the cardio day in my program. Reason being is the cardio day in my program this week has me jumping off a treadmill going 11.5 mph every 20 seconds to do exercises. This feels kind of sketchy ******* around with a maxed out treadmill while exhausted, and the exercises that I need to do need equipment, which is on a completely different floor in my gym. Pushup burpees are back.

Nope, I was wondering the same thing.

It's actually just a pushup with one leg lifted back and slightly up, then as your chest goes to the floor, you lift that leg as high as you can in the air. Alternating legs.

Went in to hit pads, just did 4 rounds. Feel decent and much improved since coming home but still a long ways to go. We drove to Langley once again today to hunt for a place. Looks like we got one if the credit report and reference checks pass...then we're out there next week.
