This just went up today =) That's my picture, and my briefing is the third. I'm the 2-0 guy.

I make a point not to put my name in here so that it's not easily searchable, so I ask that you guys don't use it here either. Unfortunately one day I'll probably have to stop posting in here, but I'd like to carry it on awhile yet.

Why do you think you need to stop? I really get inspired from this thread.

Sparring

Sparred 5 rounds standup in gear, then 5 rounds MMA starting against the cage defending or attacking and continuing full mma from there. Afterwards I rolled a couple rounds and did a few takedowns back and forth with Kajan.

Alot of the same strengths and weaknesses playing for and against me in sparring. Overall I did decently but nothing impressive.

Top 3 things that need to be focused on in my mind are

1. More sparring with use of movement and range
2. Striking endurance, namely the jab and and left kick
3. Takedowns and TD Defense, including against the cage

Obviously everything needs work, but in my mind those three things will complete me for this fight.

Like I said last post this afternoon will be pads if I can get it and if not the next GSP conditioning day.

Reminder to self that sparring is suppose to happen again thursday at 11am.

I still need to pick an intro song, suggestions are welcome. I'll post a few ideas I have later.

I like a variety of music, metal, hip hop, indie, classic rock. I'm trying to stay away from the metal-look-how-tough-I-am music for this fight. I prefer something more unique. My opponent will probably be walking out to Slipknot.

Hit 5 rounds on pads, holding a medicine ball extended in front of me between rounds. God that was agonizing.

I'm going to take a hot bath and get some sweet rest. My body, especially my legs are murderously sore.

Tomorrow there isn't much going on as far as training so I'll do my own thing, probably hit the bag and do GSP's Pull day.
