Of course he will. He's illmatic, with the power of Brazil, Kajan and Bibiano running through his veins.

I was born in Canada, but I have yet to get to Thailand or Brazil. My brother has been to Brazil twice for Carnaval. Anyway, illmatic owned that 1st round.

Haha, thanks guys. Unfortunately I don't get access to Bibiano anymore and Kajan wants to move to Vegas to train at Xtreme couture after his next fight in Feb. Brazil and Thailand are far away now.

Kultar Gill is opening a gym a short drive away pretty quickly. He may be the last guy with international decently high level MMA/K-1 experience at my finger tips. He had some nice words for me after the fight, so that might be the next move as far as training. For now I am where I am and have to put things together for myself.

They want me to fight again late march. Good news that they want me back, but I need to get a job in line. Like I mentioned awhile ago, I quit my new job because it was exhausting and awful and life draining. I'm about to go hand out resumes now and see if I can find something better.

There's a grappling tournament at my girlfriend's university this saturday, might enter for fun. The rest of this week is rest, eating all the food I can't eat, and a bit of drinking.

Back on the grind. I wanted to compete at a tournament today but I seem to have contracted ringworm from the fight on saturday. Way to kick a guy when he's down. I've applied a liberal amount of bleach to my little rings and will quarintine myself away from my training partners until it clears up.

Luckily there's plenty of work to do on my own. My absolute strength is way down, haven't worked on it in months. So I'll start with that, in addition to jumping back into the GSP workout for explosive endurance. Today the weights started low to ease myself back into lifting. A little challenging still, to my dismay.

Squats 6,6,6@185lbs
Deadlifts 6,6,6@185lbs
DB Bench 6,6,6@70lbs
Chinups 6,6,6@b/w

Abs tomorrow.

This week has been lame. Without a fight looming, I've become increasingly aware of how unemployed I am. Call of duty, alcohol, and junk food were only fun the first few days. I've handed out resumes to every job in town and have a few mediocre offers, including a return to my old job with the promise of improvement. I'll be back to work next week wherever I go...I'm in financial collapse. I miss Brazil.

Upper Body Pull Cycle:
Repeat cycle 3 times, rest 90 seconds

High Pull: 5,5,5@125lbs
Pull-ups (Underhand Grip): 8,6,4@b/w
Medicine Ball Slams: 50,50,50@Small Orange Ball
Inverted Rows (Overhand Grip) 4,4,3
Single Arm Dumbbell Rows 10,8,6@80lbs

Abs Cycle:
Repeat cycle 2 times, rest 90 seconds

Leg Raises: 12,12
Decline Alt. Crunch 10,10@45lbs
Cable Crunch 20,20@160

GSP day on the least sore muscles. The ring worm was catching eyes today. I'll gauze it up and wear long sleeves so that I'm not getting looked at like a leper next time.

Everything in my life is in a state of uncertainty, funny how it all comes in cycles. Cutting out caffeine, sleeping pills and alcohol until things clear up. Diving back into my dorky spiritual audiotapes.

Just working and dealing with outside stuff lately. The ringworm is clearing up but still there. I miss jiu jitsu the most right now. My right leg still has a dead leg after about a month now, the leg workouts and doing standing work is bothering it.

Hit pads today with training partner. Felt good to hit something but I tired pretty fast. Try my heavy lifting tomorrow.
