Well back at it last night, felt awful once we first started going...like i needed to puke but that went away after awhile...

We worked on some striking drills, then we rolled for awhile after. got a good sweat going, need to get my cardio back up.

When i get home I eat way to much, I had some Roast Beef, Pasta, and 2 big glasses of V8. and like 5min later i was hurting bad. I need to work on not eating like i've never seen food before after working out.

Wednesday, Worked on takedowns to side control then did some live grappling... Shortened class because everyone was to busy watch Gonzaga spar, which was cool anyway. Not to much of a workout but hopefully I won't end up puking tomorrow at Team Training like last time

Thats sick man! Yeah my brother has been in MMA here in Cali for about 11 years now, and MMA has always been a big thing in my Family.

I learned a lot of grappling from my Brother, (He needed a dummy to refresh what he learned at training everyday)

And plus he never shuts up about what he learned when he gets home anyway so i might as well find out on our Wrestling mat instead of getting more F'ing rug burns that NEVER go away.....

I choked out all my big friends that said

"You cant fight!"

Mostly the guillotine choke, because they all take me down like cool football stars that fall into my guard and get sub'ed lol...

Thats awesome bro that you can be getting some Pro fights! (My Brothers Dream) but he needs more training on stand - up... Which he hasn't enjoyed half as much as Mauy Thai, and Wrestling/Grappling...

Which is better that he doesn't train striking because i seen him take "Legal" steroids which i wouldn't doubt he takes the E legal ones as well......

But thats because my brother is starting to become a meat head and care more about what the ladies think then how he performs.... He is an Idiot...

But hey man keep posting i love hearing about your training and about your Diet, i my has like 15 different Diets i can ask him about... You looking to beef up or lean up? Sounds like to me LEAN up with all those Dunken Donut stops lol....

Off the top of my head, my bro does Low weights with High reps, for lean / cardio, and obviously running is #1, and swimming is actually insanely good for cardio if u have a pool in the area....

for sure, I would say if your as active as my bro, he said to just always run and what he does, is work out one part of his body all day, and just keep shocking your muscles with different shit each week.

Never just have the same routine because your muscles wont be challenged and your wasting your time. Im sure you know or heard of this.

Thats what he recommended if you want to start losing weight run a lot more and work out different parts of your body each day, and keep hitting the weights, always do squats or run before Any work out... It releases your natural steroid (testosterone)

Which im prob blabbing about shit u already know lol

Last night for BJJ we went over a pretty cool Gi Choke setup, and then rolled for the last 15min. The Gi kills my elbows pretty bad so I couldn't roll as long as I wanted to. I took the Muai Thai class after BJJ and it was a sold 1.5 hours of ass kicking. non stop striking drills going back and forth throwing combos at each other. I think my next fight might be a kickboxing match in march before i go back to MMA, hopefully ill be at the weight i need to by then anyway.

Tuesday I took off from work early to take care of some things at the bank...except I got to the bank 5min before it closed...and it was closed.... So I went to the gym 3 hours earlier then I usually do.

I started working on my double leg, just shooting over and over again, its coming along better now, wrapped my hands did some footwork drills/shadowboxed... did a few rounds on the heavy bag, Jumped into a boxing "class" its more of like a Boxercise class that the gym runs for people to get into shape, not really technique based but a good workout, did that for half the class then got ready for BJJ, rolled and got my butt kicked (i hate training in a Gi), then took boxing team training...where I basically broke down, We went straight into doing rounds, I sparred this kid, who isn't very good, but I couldn't do anything...it was like i was afraid to get hit or something, i was backing up and getting smashed against the ropes...and its the 2nd time ive done this against him... and the first time was HIS first time sparring...

I was ready to quit after that, I took my gloves and headgear off, weighed myself (lost 5lbs that day 242-237 still at 237.5) and took off, i was pissed i still am pissed... I hate boxing. plain and simple.

Ok so since the last post "stuff happened" and now on too present time...

We started a Strength and Conditioning class on sundays back in January, but it was early enough that my lazy ass couldn't get outta bed early enough to make it...So i made myself go yesterday and wow did it suck, like suck in a good way.

there where 3 stations and each station had a handfull of different things to do.

Station 1: Deadlifts, Pullups, Hammer/Tire, some Balance thing. you do each one for a minute, and you did 3 sets, i didn't think i could keep going after this one with only getting 2min for a break.

Station 2: This one was a little weird, we would stand with one foot on this balance pad thing and throw a medicine ball with our opposite hand to our partner who was doing the same thing, my feet where really cramping up.

Then one person would use the stability ball and do the plank, while the other person would do Alligator crawls (good for getting knee on belly while in side control) down and back on the mat.

Then it was Pushups with the medicine ball any way you wanted and then any core exersice. for the same amount of time as station one.

Station 3: Kettlebells....

Lunges with the kettlebells, then Squats with a thrust at the end, Then Up-pulls? i think thats what he called them, and then the kettlebell swings, this one sucked the most my body was on fire for this.

over all it was really good, and will have to make sure my fatass gets outta bed to get to this every week.

Again more stuff happened since my last post, like loosing a fight, which has motivated me more then ever to drop the wieght and get out of the Heavy Weight Division....

S&C class yesterday was tough,

Station 1

Kettlebell Curls x 2min
Plyo Medicine ball Pushups x 2min

Station 2
Burpee's with Kettlebell Shrug at the end x 2min
Plate Halo's x 2min

Station 3

Dumbbell deadlifts 60lbs one side 50lbs opposite side x 2min

Dumbbell Pushup/row x 2min

Station 4

Core Drills x 2min

Balance Drills x 2min

we went through the stations 3 times I puked for the first time in a long time, on the 3 round once i hit station 2... my back is pretty sore today, but can't wait to hit the gym again tonight.
