Workout yesterday was pretty good, basic warmups into a couple 5 min rounds of grappling, followed by some knee of belly drills then more grappling before we rolled out the wrestling matts and the wrestlers showed up to get work in. I took off at that point seeing as my nose is still sore and i seem to smash it when i do straight wrestling.

Last night was fun, warmups then went over the Darce, Anaconda, and Peruvian. did a couple of live rounds rolling, managed to avoid getting subed at all then got into groups and did what we call cards. each person is either 1, 2, or 3. and we go live non-stop until we do all the cards, basically the cards tell you whos going with who and if you start standing, in guard, or pulling guard. it gets pretty tiring fast.

Taught my minions yesterday, then grappled for a bit... we just went over basics for some reason, which was boring. Did the Muay Thai class after which is always a good time, got smashed in the nose while we did a Thai clinch pumble drill which hurt like hell seeing as its still kinda broken.

Ok, so its been awhile and I haven't been as dedicated as I should be, but I started training for a fight in September there is no set date or anything yet, but I'm focused on fighting at 205 by then...
According to the scale here in the shipping department I weigh 239lbs I know that yesterday i weighed in at 245 but I ate like a pig this weekend with the BBQ's and everything going on...
I did most of my workout at Lauzon's which is going to be my main gym again, there just isn't enough MMA technique at the gym I've been going too, I still plan on attending both gyms seeing as the classes don't overlap...
We started of with kickboxing rounds last night, 4X5min rounds switching partners every min. next we moved into the cage and did MMA rounds I was working with 2 other HWY's one who is getting ready for his first fight in august so he would stay in the whole round and me and the other guy would switch off at 2:30 into the round. we did that a few times then moved to ground and pound drills, where he was in guard this time, then half guard, then we would be in guard... it was exhausting.
Tonight i have MMA at one gym then Wrestling at Lauzons

Yesterday we started off with sharkbait, and then some rolling after...i took off early to try and make kickboxing at lauzons but the class was almost over once i got there, so we started the wrestling class and rolled for about 20min then went over some technique stuff which was good. nothing to advanced or anything but all helpfull seeing as takedowns and takedown defence is probably my worst part of my game...
just checked my weight and its still floating around 240.
Tonight I teach my Kids class then head over to Lauzons for Team Training and Grappling...

I'm 5'10" I've only fought 3 times so far and 2 of them where at heavyweight and my first fight was at a catchweight of 215. I was weighing about 235 when I started to cut to that and it went by no problem, I just need to get my mind set on fighting and completely dedicate myself to loosing the weight, My plan is to get back to 215 before the fight and then just worry about cutting to 205 from there.

Well no kids showed up for my class yesterday no big deal, I just relaxed for an hour for some reason i was really really tired once i left work. So around 6 i got to Lauzons and everyone started rolling in too, we streched out and started rolling. 15X4min rounds of rolling from out knees on the mats and starting from our feet in the cage and we where done. My elbow started to bother me from defending so many armbars but other then that it was a good night.
