net was down for a few days, worked out and whatnot, but cant remember exactly what i did...anyways

workout 1:
stretching, 10 min
5 sets of 30 pushups, only made it to 25 on the 4th and 21 on the last

workout 2: hour and a half bjj class, working on the butterfly guard and some basic guard passes for the first hour, rest was free rolling, was caught in a triangle and guillotine, had an awesome flying guard sweep, and sunk in two kimuras and an omoplata

diet:
breakfast: banana, apple, handful of almonds, milk
snack: protein shake (20g)
lunch: steak and potatoes
snack: protein shake (50g) + vitamin b6 supplement
dinner: 3 chicken breasts, green beans, and a salad

still noticing recurring pain (although very slight) in my knee, makes my shots for takedowns a lot slower though...thinking about going to get it checked out

leaving to go to europe for two weeks on monday, wont be updating more than likely, but will be working out.

current stats:
age: 17
height: 5'5 or 5'6
weight: 161
bodyfat %: not sure to be honest...havent checked

hey guys sorry about the lapse in updates. europe was AMAZING, highly recommend going to lucerne, switzerland if you ever get a chance, so beautiful.

training there was different than i thought, our roommates were randomly assigned and mine happened to be in the national guard. he claimed they taught him bjj, but what he knew was extremely limited and different from what most of us know...either the national guard has some practical purposes i cannot even fathom to think of, he paid no attention, or his instructor while in training sucked. for example, his sprawl was about the equivalent of a handstand...and they never taught them any standup, but never taught a takedown at all, so i see no practical purpose in teaching sub par groundfighting when one doesnt even know how to get the fight to the ground properly. my training basicly consisted of about an hour a day of owning this kid in rolling repeatedly, as he refused to admit that what he was taught didnt work...after being tapped countless times.

ANYWAYS, on to todays training

been pretty sick lately, so its pretty limited

workout 1: 30 minutes stretching

workout 2: hour and a half tkd, i taught today as the instructor was sick..30 minutes stretching, then went over basic sparring stuff like countering the roundhouse with a spinning back kick and underkicking...basic stuff really
