Training & Conditioning Log For MMA
Day 1 (tuesday)
MMA training. iv been out of training for a while due to an injury so easing myself back into it slowly so i can make sure everything is healed properly. Did about 40 mins of warm up & cardio followed by practicing some ground work and then finished off with some bag work practicing my combos and conditioning my shins. |
Day 2 (wednesday)
Gym day - Chest & Triceps. Iv had one of the trainers do me a little workout programme to try to get me started building my strength & fitness. Chest. 4x12 - Bench press 4x12 - DB flyes Triceps. 4x12 - Dips 4x12 - Tricep pushdown to finish off i did some cardio. 10 mins on the rowing machine with 1 minute intervals of everything i got then 30 seconds rest slow rowing. keep repeating this till the 10 minutes are up. Then 10 minutes on the running machine at the end. Can tell i havent trained in a while could feel it but glad to be back in there. |
Day 3 (thursday)
MMA training. did roughly 40 mins of cardio then some groundwork rolling in 5 minute round intervals. Everyone was taking it a little steady because there competing on saturday and didnt wanna injure anyone. |
