What should be The Warrior Diet?

The Warrior diet is a controversial diet that encourages under-eating during the day and then feasting at night. It is designed to mimic the way a warrior would eat (Spartans are mentioned by the creator).

I was just wondering if anyone had tried this diet or knows anything about it?

It seems to go against a lot of the more traditional methods of dieting e.g. 6 small meals a day.

Cheers Guys

You shouldn't eat close to the time you sleep. Your stomach needs to finish digesting everything there before you sleep. Its really bad for you to go to sleep while your stomach is going full on. Thats just the scientific part of it though.

This needs to be in the Training and Nutrition section.

That aside: The problem with eating like that now a days is that no one in modern life lives as actively as those historic warriors. The reason why the Spartans may have been able to get away with that while staying fit is because they walked everywhere, usually while carrying lots of equipment. Most people don't even walk 10 minutes to their local stores, much less the amount of military marching an average Spartan would do.

I don't think it would be anywhere near as effective as it is prescribed to be.

It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree... As long as I don't bore you and I spark a moment of thought, my goal is achieved.

What should be The Warrior Diet?

I think it sort of makes sense. During the day, you are bashing people, so you eat late at night to prepare your body for the next day. I eat a lot at night and not much during the day, but I don't find it makes any difference when I eat to be honest. To known better have a look at winyourmmafight.com you will get detailed information on dieting. I have a cast iron gut and a ridiculous metabolism, so I never get fat and don't get stomach problems.
