How old to start training?

I was wondering if anybody could offer suggestions on when and how to start training. My son is 4. I know I cannot get him into MMA classes until he is 13, but I would like to start preparing him for it. He is going to be getting a punching bag to help work out anger and built up energy. I am getting Tap Out for myself and thought about having him do some of that with me. There is a yoga part that I thought that would be good. Did Karate or any of those help anybody? My son is very active, tall, thin, loves to wrestle, has a short fuse (I am hoping this will teach him other ways to direct anger) and he is a very strong boy already with no strength training at all. I am open for suggestions and advice.
