Too much cycling?

Hi Guys

I am new to mma and have been training for around 6 months.

Im very fit - today my car broke down - and i am thinking of cycling to work.

It would be 2 hours cycling per day.

For some reason - maybe im just being negative - I feel like riding the bike that much may overtrain one part of my leg? or may make my body to used to the unnatural cycling movement?

what you think?

it may sound wierd but because i train 2 hours a day it feels just so much to dedicate to a couple of body parts on a bike

I think as long as you don't push yourself too hard you will be fine. Eventually the muscles that are sore will develop and won't be a problem down the line. Unless you push yourself too hard you should be fine. I certainly wouldn't worry about over development.

Not the kind of cycling I was expecting to read about...
