Hi

How do you know when a person is about to swing and where. Well I mean like I know when he swings but is there like an easy easy way to know?

Hi,

What?? Are you asking how do i know when some one is about to punch?

If so, for an amatuer it is very hard to predict when and where youre oppenent will hit you. Some people try and figure out the oppenets pattern/combo and others have feelings while the pros look for the smallest details to find out when his oppenent will hit next.

How do you figure the opponents pattern/combo? Are their sacrifices like getting hit in the face or any other part? Oh and when you say pros look for the smallest details what do you mean?

Bad idea. I would suggest always watching their hips/core/shoulders. I personally like watching around the chest area because all punches/kicks/shoots come from either the shoulder or the hips.

I don't know if you have ever wrestled but i can tell you that you dont' watch th eyes to see a takedown coming. You have to watch the hips to prevent takedowns. I would suggest watching between the stomach and chest. When a person goes to strike there is almost always motion in that area. Its not always a lot of motion thier but if you watch that area you will see what im talking about.

If you watch their eyes you can see everything underneath but if you watch their hips your gonna get a nice hook to the temple
