I don't think there's a "perfect" style, but i think the key is finding out what is practical and what isn't.
Stamina's important, so people need to do cardio.
Strength's important, so people need to do weight.
But i think the most important part of it is just applying the fighting with sparring. I feel like it improves my fighting the most if i spar alot.
I do alot of weight and some cardio too, but i really think that the key to being successful is balancing all of it to suit your needs. If you can bench 300+ then you probably want to focus on cardio and stamina. But if you have endless stamina and you can't do any real damage with a punch or a submission hold, are you really going to get anywhere?
