Cardio help, injury related.

Ok, I pretty severly sprained my ankle about 3 months ago. My range of motion is still somewhat limited without pain, it's decidedly better but I still can't run on it or make quick side to side moves. I'm kind of lost as to what to do for my cardio as I'm starting to gain a few extra pounds that I really don't want. Any suggestions for me?

Agree 100 percent.

I wrecked my ankle & knee last summer and used swimming to both recover and keep the man tits at bay.

Stupidity is suspossed to be painful

Last July 3rd I severly sprained my anxle hopping a rail at the park playing with my kid......it still hasn't fully recovered but I can run a bit now. I worked on stretching techniques to get the range of motion in it and messaged it. I soaked my foot alot with warm water and then stretched it as best as I could. Cardio, if swimming doesn't hurt (kicking motion) try that, as someone else suggested first or go to the gym and use a handbike.

Sorry to hear about your injury......heal up soon, I know how frustrating it is.

Yeah and if you can't swim, try to walk more. It might be hard at the start with your ankle but if you progress...

Jumping rope would probably kill his ankle more if he can't run...lol swimming is the only way i see it to prevent further injury, and promote recovery
