LOL! I dont think that toast is going to mess up your diet in any way. Unless maybe you eat a bunch of it. But a couple of pieces a day for breakfast shouldnt be a problem.
Toast is a good source of carbs to eat with breakfast. However, I would suggest eating wheat bread or whole grain. Oatmeal is probably the best source of carbs, followed by bagels, and other types of cereals. A piece of toast has about 11-12 grams of carbs in it so a couple pieces added to your breakfast definitely is a plus
Yeah I usually take 2 slices of whole wheat toast em' put a little penaut butter and strawberry jelly on it... Mmmmm that just made me hungry. Im going to go make some.
anytime you're wondering about the nutritional value of a carbohydrate, remember that complex carbs (whole grains, fruit, vegetables) are much lower on the glycemic index than simple carbs (potatoes, white bread, any refined carbs).
