i actually like no music when i'm running or probably something soft-trance, techno, break beats, etc. i get distracted when listening to music i can sing to.

When i lift i prefer hard rock.

Wh is everyone suggesting rock? Everyone knows its dance that brings out better physical performances. That's why they play it at gyms. you need a constant fast pace to keep to and something repetative just like running. It keeps your mind focused and makes you feel like a machine.

old school

I prefere to go a bit old school.

Black Betty gets me hyped,
and ACDC - TNT is a great track.

Prodigy is always good

Its very hard for me to listen to music while im training. I prefer just to think about what im gonna do next while im working out. Dont need music to get you motivated.

I enjoy fast passed hardcore while weight lifting. The Dillinger Escape Plan, Hot Cross, Botch... anything MathCore really. It gets me really pumped. I'm not a big rap fan but a few Dead Prez songs also get me pumped to lift.

One song I can't stand is Crazy by Gnarles Barkley, when I'm lifting. Last summer before I got my mp3 player thats all my gym would play!
