Hello. Currently I'm new to the MMA game but would like to one day compete. However I wanted your opinion on what should be done in a MMA training session, how long should it last, how many times a day, and for how many days for a competing fighter. I was thinking something like three training sessions a day three hours each, six days a week. What do you guys think? In the first session I would do conditioning, and stand up, second session conditioning, and grappling/ground, and third session I would do strength training depending on the day, and some sparring. I would also work on a mixture of stand up, and ground/grappling.
Since I do have a good job which is based on high commission, have a flexible college scheduale, and enough time for a life I was thinking this might be good. However what do you guys think? Advice is greatly appreciated, and needed. Thanks.
