BurninTurnin has a little shameless behaviour in the past
New to MMA

Hi my name is Adam from central NY. I'm 17 and in the 10th grade heading to 11th in the fall. I love watching UFC and someday I want to fight too. I have been doing wrestling for 3 years. I have never done any form of other fighting. My question is how can I start to become a fighter so maybe one day I too can fight in the octagon? My features are:
Height: 5' 9''
Weight: 204lbs
Not sure of any other like arm length but if needed ill check. And if possible is the training I need inexpensive cause my household isnt a high income family but this is a dream of mine since I first saw it at 15

Well, you might wanna check up on MMA schools around your area.
If you can't afford them, the best you can do is get some equipment, some training vids, and a friend or two.
Good luck dude.

You are a stout dude at 5'9" and 204! Check for some MMA schools in your area. It shouldn't be too expensive to find a gym and train. Wrestling is a great starting point. Just go look in your area, you should find something. Good luck.

Yeah I too have just began specific MMA training recently and I know for my school its a pay per session like $5 or $10 per session so you can go pretty well whenever you can afford it, Ill end up going maybe 2-3 times a week which is good enough. But yeah like Trainee said a great idea is to buy soem equipment like focus mits, gloves, speedbag or cheap heavybag or just get a couple sets of gloves and spar. You don't have to go to a school to get experience and increase yoru skill.
