Not only should you drink lots of water while taking creatine, you should cycle on and off of it regularly. If you do not cycle it, it may screw your kidneys. Drinking lots of water will not save your kidneys alone. I used to take it in high school when I lifted every day, and I saw huge gains in size and strength. It can be tempting to keep taking it as long as you see the gains, but you HAVE to cycle. Keep a good log on any supplements you take, especially those that can be harmful to your liver or kidneys.
I have a strict guideline I follow... If I'm thinking about starting on a supplement, I research it first. It doesn't take much, just surf the internet and ask friends about their experience with it. This is the perfect place to get good reviews from those who have already tried them. Before taking creatine or any other supplement, first know what it is and how it works.

It is true that creatine can be found in red meat and fish, but you'd have to eat many steaks in order to get the amount of creatine you can scoop from a container. By then, your nutrition plan is shot, and you've got to worry about moving the five pounds of red meat lodged in your intestines.
The good thing about creatine is that it is natural. There's not much to worry about, except for how you use it. By the way, an effective cycle would be about a month on, and at least two weeks off, if not a full month.

I use a creatine Product called Vitargo CGL. I've seen great results and I've only been taking it for 3 weeks. I've gained about 4 pounds, the healing process from lifting and grappling has been cut in half, and it tastes great

Buy one of the cheaper kinds. Creatine Monohydrate is Creatine Monohydrate. Just make sure it is pharmaceutical grade. I bought like 1000 grams from 4Everfit for like 25 bucks or something.

Not too mention that most of the creatine is destroyed in the cooking process. You would puke from eating before you could ingest enough meat to compose 10-15 grams of creatine.

OK I just got the bottle in the mail today and before I start taking it I need someone to answer this question for me.

The instructions say to take 4-6 capsules 4 times daily for the loading phase and 3-6 capsules once or twice daily for the maint phase. Now I never ever take medicine or anything just a multivitamin occassionally so I need to know does that mean I take about 4 pills, 4 times a day?...so I would be taking like 16 capsules a day? Cuz that seems like a lot...or does it mean I take a TOTAL of about 4-6 capsules for the whole day while splitting them up between 4 times in the day?

Basically I am asking for the loading phase do I take 16-24 capsules a day or do I take 4-6 capsules a day while splitting them up throughout the day?

+Rep to the first person to answer me.

Elite Delivery Technologies presents ELITE-K Kre-Alkalyn creatine stronger than any form of creatine

I used to feel bloated and somewhat sluggish with the powder. I stopped using it and gave Kre-Alkylan a try... no bloating and i'm seeing great results. Most of it will be your diet but a good supplement helps.
