Need To Shed Sum Serious Weight

Hi guys, first post on here.
Jus got back in to muay thai after 5 years out of it. In that 5 years ive really let go and put on 5 stones! Back when I used to do it I was a good competttion level fighter and really want to get back to that level but first i need to lose the weight.
I really sum dieting and training tips.....

Start off slow and just keep building up your exercise gradually. I've been doing MMA and BJJ training for a couple of months and have dropped about 16lbs already (down from close to 14 and a half stone at the start of july - The regular training as well as a complete changing diet. Cutting out fizzy drinks and sweets and replacing them with water and fruit has been the main factor.

If you have been in combat sports shape in the past it won't be as hard to drop those pesky extra pounds as it would have been if just overweight with no training experience. I'd suggest dropping some weight before going back to Muay Thai otherwise you'll gas right away.

My only suggestion is to try running/jogging at least a mile a day and working your way up. Also, do some weight training to build muscle. It may keep you from "losing" weight, but it will cause you to lose fat much faster.

Over the last 2 years Ive lost 103 lbs for me I had to keep myself hungry and no eating after 6 at night man does breakfast ever taste good , but for me it was simple eat less train more good luck

keep training ur muay thai with some running or bike or jump rope
circut weight training add muscle while decressing the fat (dont have to go heavy high reps if u want to lose weight)
watching tv 10 push ups every commercial thats like 30 every 30mins
diet eat healthy dont skip meals basicly cut out the chips, and candy. eating 3 meals is important. drink water gatorade milk.
carbs dont cut them out important energy source
cheating you got to cheat a little not big time but like maby 1 time every week have a small snack or candy. if u cant do this right dont do it at all. i found from personal experience when i cheat a little i find the temptation is weeknd. beside i feel guilty after words and i work harder the next day
fruits apples peaches oranges banannas replace all thoes snacks you used to eat (chips candy)

living a healthy life style and you will lose the weight.
i lost 30lbs so far in 3 months. remember take ur time moving into the cardio work ur way into it.

Excellent advice my friend.

Good to hear that you are making such wonderful progress.

I might also add that you would want to eat 1.5x your weight in protein and dont consume any carbs after 8 in the evening.

Just start eating smart and learn to time your meals according to your day and training, this will make a huge difference with no change. The apply the advice the guys gave you and you should be right on track.
