I need help negotiating with MMA gyms

Question for anyone who trains or has trained at an MMA gym:

Over the past week I've getting set to visit local MMA gyms. I have a lot of negotiating experience at a high level, but I've never tried to negotiate with a gym. Can anyone tell me what to expect? What are the salesmen's goals? Do they want to sell a year package more than a short-term package? Any tips on getting the best price possible? What is open to negotiation?

I'm formulating a plan of attack right now and I'd appreciate any info you can give me. Knowledge is power in negotiations.

It varies to much to know, i usually do my negotiating on the stop because i can think fast on my feet but i suggest going to the gym(s) have a look around it and find out all the info then go home and make your decision but remember not to get caught up with anything.
