5x5 stength training doesn't transition to MMA well, what you need is a good 3x12 workout to induce muscle hypertrophy and a high protein diet.

No! 5x5 is for strength, 3x12 is for bodybuilding

Are you being sarcastic? 5x5 strength training transitions VERY well into MMA, a 3x12 workout with a high protein diet does not.

Hah I was just messing with ya.
I spent today running around with a heavy bag filled with old acrylic weights and padding working my core.

Boxxer 5x5 is a great strength workout, but you should do endurance work aswell.
