Shoulder/ Rotator cuff problems

I've been having trouble in the gym with my shoulders and Rotator cuffs mainly when I'm doing overhead tricep extension with a 45lb plate or a dumbbell. When I extend over my head it feels like my shoulders are going to dislocate or soemthing. It's weird. Anybody else ahve that problem and know what to do about it?

One day I was hitting the bag to hard and ended up doing something in my shoulder were I could feel something wasnt right. But when I would do certain workouts I would here a click kinda, feeling like my bones were rubbing. Well the pain went away after a few days and I changed the way I lifted the barbell when doing the workout and had no more problems. I guess I wasnt lifting %100 right with that one. I just bent my arm more and used my shoulder less. Change or stop something before it gets worse for sure.
