well the basis of the wing chun is very close quarter fighting with the emphasis on short punching and elbows all coming through your centre line and from hips. the mantis is more about brutal power and knocking through any defence and smashing fists. i have yet to move on to the pressure point traing yet. so i have found in street fights in general, the wing chun is for close quarter defence, the mantis for all out attack and my judo for the grappling side. the kick boxing i have found more usefull for conditioning and kicking power.
