basically they take shortcuts in producing it...lots of unknown sugar as filler....and the product is made on a massive scale so it's probly been sitting in a factory for a while letting the enzymes degrade because of the plastic its packaged in....the guy i buy my stuff from has his masters in kines and runs his own supplement shop...he gave me the gist of muscle tech and its crappy products

Nice atleast there are people on here that realize how horrible muscletech is.

I'd suggest buying Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. High quality and cheap as hell compared to MuscleTech and that crap they advertise on the UFC (i refuse to say the name).

It's really up to you, I just wouldn't suggest buying more.

Its not really about "unknown sugar fillers", the ingredients are known. The product is just overpriced for what it is,per serving you get a 10g creatine monohydrate mixed with 75 grams of dextrose(corn sugar), a little bit of chromium(cheap supplement that people should get) and a little bit of other stuff that makes almost no difference.

Basically, Dextrose is like $1/lb and is atleast 90% of cell-tech.

definatly dont trash it, its not garbage. In all seriousness you dont want 75g of sugar after a hard training sesh or even after a hard gym sesh, I would take half servings and when you take it have some whey along with it.

EDIT: oh yeah and if you dont get it yet, dont buy anymore hah

YES! Don't throw it out or anything stupid. It's a good product. Just oversweetened and overpriced.

Just take a half serving PWO.

Taking 75g of sugar is more than two sodas combined. That's an excellent way to set up the ability to store fat. or cavities in your mouth.

25-35 of sugar IS MAX for one sitting and you shouldn't be taking in tons of sugar.

Remember, it only replenishes liver gycogen. not muscle. complex carbs are your friend.

Vitamin C. You get sick easily when you're training hard, it's like the immune system gets weakened by the hard work. I take 500mg three times a day (I don't know what that's in ounces) and I haven't had the flue since I started it. Before that I would eventually get sick whenever I was training hard for a longer period of time, and then I would be back on square one (well almost it seemed).

It's something that really made a difference for me. Most multivitamins have very little vitamin C in them!
