Ok well I do not really want this to turn into a arguement thread I was just looking for help.

And I do not apreciate you coming into my thread and insulting me and calling me cheap. So please post else where.

as I said in my first post I do not have money for a gym right now (my money is going for more important things right now, and these things do not concern you) so if anyone could give me tips for things to do outside of a gym and other tips to help me please do

RossTraining - Bridging The Gap Between Ordinary and Extraordinary

If you're serious about this thread then you'll read that site and incorporate it into your training. It's ALL about strength and endurance training specifically for fighting and for people who don't have access to a gym.

You guys can believe what you want, I have an extremely fast metabolism as in I can eat a tub of ice cream before bed every night and it HELPS me rather than hurt me. I used to compete in jiu-jitsu tournaments before I started mma and I weighed in at 155. I'm currently 184 and just as lean as I was at 155. Boss.

To the thread starter.. you cant gain size without lifting heavy. I know you want people to tell you doing pushups and swinging on the jungle gym will put size on you but it wont. Stop being cheap and invest 20.00 a month into a gym.

P.S. Wtf is a "mma muscle body."

Plazzman: You said you eat 2 plates of food at dinner... and? How's the rest of your day? So quick to lash out without any intelligent information.
Well good sir, I shall use my 1000th post on you.

Thats very good that you eat a tub of Ice Cream every night before you go to bed, I honostly dont understand how it could be good for you but that is your body, you know better. As for my diet and metabolism, I stated I eat atleast two full plates of rice, bread and meats (usually chicken) at dinner time, (not 100% all the time but VERY often), as for the rest of my day, well, its not like I have a complete and scheduled meal,I eat about one serving of some not so healthy stuff for breakfast. I eat anywhere from 1-2 sittings of an average person for lunch, and Im always snacking on anything I can find.

If you had read and understood more carefully you would see that I am not talking about the things I eat and when I eat them. I was merely saying that I eat a lot, sometimes very unhealthy foods, but its does not settle in my system, or affect me considerably like many other people. Now I was always a very skinny kid. I probably weighed somewhere around 125 junior year oh H.S. I am now 155 standing at 5-11. I have gained extra pounds recently due to a new work out regiment, but I still eat just as much.

I would kindly take your word anyother day, but its kinda hard putting your opinion over lets say, my doctor, whos spent a hell of a lot longer time on the human body then you. And plus this isnt even my problem, Im fine with the way I am now and can always get bigger later on in life. Im only 18 and have much more growing to do.

But concerning your views on M__D, I find it kind of unfair for you to lambaste him because he cant afford a typical gym. Because you know pumping Iron and taking your daily supplements isnt the only way to stay healthy and fit. And of course you can gain muscles by doing pushups and pullups and what not, why else would people do them, to look cool? Ive personally gained a ton of muscle by doing those. You really think many martial artists and gymnasts get the physiques that they have by heading down to golds gym everyday? In fact I can give you prime examples of people who have changed their lives considerably by just doing many of these things.

I have a friend who weighed in upwards to about 250 Lbs, (In the 9th grade!), He joined a TKD class and within a 7 months to about a year he was down to a fairly built 200-210. Now are you telling me his Varpit had him lift dumbells all day?

What he was merely asking, if you had kindly read was, "How can I improve my physical stature and fitness without going to a conventional gym?".

So next time please dont think what works for you HAS to work for others, no matter what. You know Im just tired of people who are in the mind set of being fit and staying healthy looking down on everyone who isnt at their level. Sure it takes determination, but its hard, and not everyones Ronny Coleman or Jack Lelane. Gyms are not the only answer bud.

PS: MMAForum is the shit

I never said I eat a tub of icecream every night before bed. I said I could if I wanted and it would do more good than harm. Meaning people with high metabolisms can use it like people use cottage cheese before bed.

Then you shouldnt have opened your mouth and said its jsut because of your high metabolism. It has something to do with it but if you ate 4,000 cals per day you will gain weight period.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You did not gain extra pounds because of a new workout. If in fact you gained any weight its due to taking in more calories than you have burned.

How long has your doctor been working out or eating to gain muscle not just to live? Glad to see you know "how long i've spent on the human body." You don't have any idea of my education background.

He lost weight meaning he was overweight. Losing weight and gaining muscle on a skinny frame are ENTIRELY different ball games.

Actually what he asked was if there was anything he can do around the house or in his back yard to gain muscle. The simple answer is "no" unless he has 100lb+ objects to move around.

You know what im tired of? Hearing people like you try to justify giving someone false information. Your best bet for a home gym is a workout on RossTraining.com, but you still need weight to move around you cant just use your body weight to pack on muscle. You can add a little when first starting out if your body isnt used to doing anything except eating cheetos all day but your progress will plateau very fast.

Thanks for your opinion though.

I am glad you are stating your oppinion, which are always acceptable but if your oppinion is to do something that I stated in the opening thread I cant to do, then why post on here, and ever since then all you have done is argue with people that are trying to help me with me circumstances. So if you do not mind to awfly much could you stop posting in my thread. I do not need for you to post a rebutle or reasons why you said what you did or anything like that so dont, just stop posting in the thread please and so I can just listen to people advice on things I actually have the ability to do.

He was just showing you that the advice given by Plazzman was incorrect. You want incorrect advice? Having a fast metabolism is no excuse for not gaining weight, you just have to work a lot harder

Second, you mention you eat and eat but don't gain anything, wrong. You're a liar. Before you get upset realize I know what im talking about and im feeling nice enough to shed some light on the topic.

In order to gain strength and weight without getting chubby you need to eat the right foods and lift heavy weights. You need to fill your face with MILK, whole grain breads, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, veggies, some berries/bananas w/e, and lots of lean meat. Think its easy? We'll its not because you will be eating clean as hell and need to hit approx 2,500-3,500 cals a day. A can of tuna is what 150 cals?

Now that you're eating the right foods you need to perform the proper lifts in the gym to turn those pencil arms into something impressive. Three days at the gym for heavy lifting no more. Monday, Wednesday, Friday.. the other days of the week are there for resting and if you want cardio. (Stair climbing, Burpees, Sprints, Jump Rope) Stop running! No need!

Monday - Squat + Whatever leg exercises you want
Wednesday - Bench, Overhead Press, Dips, Tricep Variation
Friday - Deadlift, Bent Over Rows, Chins, Bicep Variation

Trust me, i've tried the whole body building crap before nothing works better for gaining strength than a powerlifting routine, milk (can't stress it enough) and food.
Add Power Cleans into your routine somewhere.

They are excellent exercises for developing overall power and explosiveness.
