Need help with workouts and nutrition
Ok first I will tell you a little about myself so maybe you guys could help me out with the best way and best things to do to get me in better shape.
I am 5'11 around 135, 140 yeah I know I am skinny. I eat quite a bit but I never gain weight even though all I really do is sit on my butt all day. The past I dont know how long though I have noticed that I am getting tired alot more and even though I am skinny I am really out of shape.
I minored in dance in college so in which got me at least a little healthy but after college I had no where to dance besides raves and the clubs when I went to them. Well anyways any muscle that I gained is far gone and I want to get it back and then some.
One of my main problems is lack of money, I have none for I did own my own massage therapy buisness but I had to stop because I needed to take care of someone in my family so now I am applying to different places but there is no real money to speak of to pay for a gym or MMA class's
I was wondering if you guys had any recomindations for things that I could do around my house or out side that would give me good results, I have almost absolutely no fat to speak of so that maybe a problem with the gaining muscle part.
also for food what do you recomend I eat alot so anything you recomend I probibly will devour
well anyways I will make myself the forums little project. I am willing to do and stick to intelligent suggestions that you guys might have.

Ok first, ignore what sic asked. It makes zero sense.
Second, you mention you eat and eat but don't gain anything, wrong. You're a liar. Before you get upset realize I know what im talking about and im feeling nice enough to shed some light on the topic.
In order to gain strength and weight without getting chubby you need to eat the right foods and lift heavy weights. You need to fill your face with MILK, whole grain breads, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, veggies, some berries/bananas w/e, and lots of lean meat. Think its easy? We'll its not because you will be eating clean as hell and need to hit approx 2,500-3,500 cals a day. A can of tuna is what 150 cals?
Now that you're eating the right foods you need to perform the proper lifts in the gym to turn those pencil arms into something impressive. Three days at the gym for heavy lifting no more. Monday, Wednesday, Friday.. the other days of the week are there for resting and if you want cardio. (Stair climbing, Burpees, Sprints, Jump Rope) Stop running! No need!
Monday - Squat + Whatever leg exercises you want
Wednesday - Bench, Overhead Press, Dips, Tricep Variation
Friday - Deadlift, Bent Over Rows, Chins, Bicep Variation
Trust me, i've tried the whole body building crap before nothing works better for gaining strength than a powerlifting routine, milk (can't stress it enough) and food.

I dont think you understand boss, its called metabolism and M__D has a very fast one, as do I, Ill admit I eat about 2 plates of dinner, mainly rice, bread and meats a night, Im dead serious, and I weigh about 155, 5-11'.
I used to play a crap load of soccer but havnt for about 3-5 months, but my weight has not changed considerably. I did gain about 5-10 pounds recently but Id like to attribute that to working out, which I have started recently.
I heard somewhere that people with fast metabolisms build up pretty fast if they work out.
Better ask Wukkadb or Oganju, M__D

How did what I say not make sense? I asked if he is looking for a bodybuilding style body, or leaner MMA body.

It doesn't matter how fast your metabolism is. You just need to eat more and more and more, and eat HEALTHY. If you have that fast of a metabolism aim for 4,000 clean calories a day with grainy foods, good carbs, healthy fats, veggies, milk, and fruit.

Fast metabolism means you eat more. Im willing to bet anything you arent taking in even 3,000 calories a day.
You guys can believe what you want, I have an extremely fast metabolism as in I can eat a tub of ice cream before bed every night and it HELPS me rather than hurt me. I used to compete in jiu-jitsu tournaments before I started mma and I weighed in at 155. I'm currently 184 and just as lean as I was at 155. Boss.
To the thread starter.. you cant gain size without lifting heavy. I know you want people to tell you doing pushups and swinging on the jungle gym will put size on you but it wont. Stop being cheap and invest 20.00 a month into a gym.
P.S. Wtf is a "mma muscle body."
Plazzman: You said you eat 2 plates of food at dinner... and? How's the rest of your day? So quick to lash out without any intelligent information.

I meant an MMA body. Not as much emphasis as muscles which are not as profecient in MMA, such as biceps, and more emphasis on turning movements like the hips.
