What do you think would be more beneficial in the first year of training for the eventual goal of MMA fighting.
My gym runs BJJ, Wrestling, and Muay Thai classes.
I can do 2 sometimes 3 classes a week plus an open mat session on the weekend of grappling. At the moment I just do BJJ. But was thinking of dropping a class and taking wrestling lessons.
Do you think this would be beneficial in the early stages? or would I be better off just sticking to purely BJJ to get a good ground game going first.
I was thinking wrestling would help my non existing take down game. But then dont want to sacrifice BJJ. as i dont get too much time for classes.
Muay Thai is another story, not sure WHEN i will find time for that
