I have been with an MMA gym for 7 months now. I have lost 10kg -22lbs and feeling good. When I joined I didn't know what to expect because I had no prior knowledge. I would like to ask in this forum, what should I expect from my gym? Should there be dedicated days to a certain discipline i.e. Muay Thai, BJJ, and Boxing? Or should it be jumbled up every time I train? There are techniques that we learn and do refresh on them, we use combinations and we do spar, but I don't feel that there is enough focus on technique. Am I expecting too much or is this how MMA gyms go? I am thinking of learning a certain discipline (Judo) and going to the MMA gym as well to incorporate what I learn at Judo. Am I making any sense? I'm confused.
