Cheating a diet...

I am totally aware that ultimately, this is a decision only I can make. Iv'e gone five days without any junk food what-so-ever and im not (mentally) in any state to relapse. However, my friend and I decided to throw a party one last time before school and it is certain that there will be junk food. The way i see it is: I'm either going to go all out and pig it, or abstain from any junk at all. Basically lol I go big or go home so to speak. If I do decide to go all out and pig it, how much will it really hurt me. I'm 18 in December, and very stubborn so i'll go right back to dieting again.

If your having to ask then mentally your not sticking to your diet. Things like this are going to come up all the time are you going to go through this everytime? If you do cheat hopefully you learn your lesson lol. I have too many times.

The way I see it is if your on a diet in which your NOT eating/drinking certain things and you take a 1night every two weeks to enjoy yourself who cares. If you live your life eating fried/fatty foods and wish you could stop then that stuff is controlling your lifestyle, if you live your life trying not to eat that stuff its still controlling your lifestyle. Unless your training for a specific event take a night to do whatever and enjoy yourself =)

Believe.

******* kids on this forum..........

I have an idea, you should start throwing up after you eat! Then you can eat what you want and stay nice and trim girlfriend.

Since it has only been five days, I suggest you stay away from the junk food.
Trust me, I'm a struggling fat boy too (trying to lose the weight), and if you have a long, long history of unhealthiness...five days isn't enough to get you out of it. Try to keep your diet for 30 days or something...if you've successfully done that, it's okay for you to pig out once every two weeks or whatever.

If you haven't successfully done that...that means you're still pigging out.

Have fun and enjoy yourself. You only have to be good 90% of the time!

ABS diet?

id get into a groove of at least a week and then after that you could allow yourself 1 cheat meal a week. 1 meal out of the whole week isnt going to do anything even if you pig out, but just make sure its only 1.

This happened to me too. I just ate whatever I wanted their. We're young so our metabolism will burn that right up. Enjoy being our age.

I'd say knock urself out and have fun. If u are eating healthy on a day to day basis then cheating every now and then u'll b fine. Besides I've heard a lot of ppl say that ur supposed to have a cheat day to reward urself every so often.
