Joint pain after jiu jitsu

I have pain in my shoulders after jiu jitsu if i don't do rolls right. How should I treat it afterwards? Anyone else get any joint related issues after grappling? is offline

When you say rolls, do you mean like tumbling rolls, or rolling with an opponent? I've had some super-aggressive types that I've trained with who have left me with some lasting pains in several joints. I went to the sauna after training, took glutamine supplements for quick repairs, and made sure I tapped as soon as I knew the super-aggressive guy had a submission secured. If you fight it in training, it's a quick way to get hurt, especially if your training partner is an ass.
